NYC PODCAST AWARDS “HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS” BEST WRITING IN THE FICTION GENRE
On the heels of winning two American Writing Awards for Best Humor & Satire and Best Fiction, Myth Lab Entertainment celebrates bringing home the Best Writing (Fiction Genre) from the first-ever NYC Podcast Awards. We were nominated in four categories: Best Acting, Best Writing (Fiction Genre), Best Fiction Podcast and Black Excellence in Audio Storytelling.
Our founders, sister duo Kozi Kyles and Kyra Kyles, flew to New York City for the inaugural event on March 13, where we were surrounded by approximately 200 of our podcast peers in the fiction and non-fiction genres. Yes, it was Friday the 13th, but we were feeling mighty lucky!
It was a swanky soiree, and we got to pose with the beautiful LIBBY statuette and share gratitude for our Best Writing (Fiction) onstage.
We thanked our parents for their ceaseless support of our artistic interests and passing down the discipline, entrepreneurial spirit and creativity that keeps us on the storytelling track.

We shared our deepest appreciation for the incredible “Home for the Holidays” cast and crew for their outstanding voice-over performances, compelling experiential sound editing and stunning artwork. We would not have been able to tell three stories combining humor and horror without the most amazing collaborators we could have dreamed of.
We also owe you, H4H listeners and supporters, for believing in our project and tuning in wherever you get your audio entertainment.
If you have not yet heard our (now) award-winning effort, check it out HERE and let us know what you think.
More to come, but for now, let’s celebrate! Congratulations to all of the other NYC Podcast winners and nominees. You can check them out here.
